We took the girls to the Roadrunners game tonight. They are a semi-pro baseball team in St. George. It was so much fun. One of J's friends is an umpire for the team which gave us the idea. Kendall kept asking us on the way if we were going to the Basketball game. We knew we would not last the whole 9 innings.
Before the game started a lady came up and asked if Brynlee wanted to participate in a little race with the mascot down on the field. She was scared at first but was convinced to do it. When Kendall got word of what was going to happen she decided that she had to race too. She is so into racing and winning everything. Even when she doesn't win, she still tries to claim victory. The race was the cutest thing ever. J took the girls down to where they needed to go and I sat in the stands. They asked the girls their names and then started them on first base. There was one other boy (maybe 8 or 9). He said go and they were off. Bryn did well. She stayed right behind the older boy the whole time. Kendall ran her guts out. Of course she was slower and I thought she might quit and run off the field, but she did not. She ran the bases. The announcer told her she could take a shortcut but she didn't want to. Everyone in the audience thought it was the cutest thing and cheered her on. I sat in the stands and cried. (I know roll your eyes at me, I couldn't help it). They got little coupons for a restaurant for finishing. They were so excited. Bryn also got a foul ball that an employee had picked up and handed to her.

Jeremey had as much fun as the girls did.
To finish it off the girls each spent their own money on cupcakes. It was a very fun night, but we left in the 4th inning.

How fun!! That it so cute being able to look and see the kids out running with the mascot. I probably would have cried too if it was Emma! LOL!
