We left for Moab yesterday morning. Every year we come down for Easter Jeep Safari. Jeremey's parents live in Moab now so we came for the whole week this year. Jeremey did a favor for a friend and drove his truck and trailer and rock buggy from St. George to Moab. LONGEST TRIP EVER!!! It is a 4 1/2 hour-5 hour trip usually but it took us 7 hours. Jeremey drove the truck and I drove the jeep behind him. We had to go slow because of the weight and size of the trailer and also because of the wind. We stopped a few times for little girl bathroom breaks but tried not to stop for very long. Then when we were about 60 miles away from Moab the truck ran out of gas. The guy we were driving the truck for forgot to tell us that the guage that tells us how many more miles we have left on the tank didn't work right. We thought we had enough gas to get there but we ran out on the highway. We were 12 miles from a gas station. Kendall and I stayed with the truck and Jeremey and Brynlee went to get gas. That added about an hour to our journey. We did finally make it and we were definately ready to be done. We've taken longer car trips before but it is hard when you expect a certain time and it goes way over.
Grandpa Curtis bought a surprise for all the grandkids. We had a lot of fun on the new minibike.
